Fix WordPress Password Reset Email Not Sending in Plesk
When WordPress password reset emails are not delivered. This article explains why this happens on Plesk hosting.
While attempting to use the Lost Password option at the WordPress login page, you may encounter an error.
Why does this error occour and How to prevent it:
The error occurs because WordPress attempts to send an email containing the password reset link via the address: wordpress@yourdomain.com while using the PHP Mail () function.
To prevent such an error, you will need to whitelist the email address “wordpress@yourdomain.com” in Plesk.
How do I whitelist an email ID?

Login to the Plesk Panel

Click on Whitelist Email.

Register the Email ID - Enter the email ID you wish to register, select the reason from the drop down list and Click on OK.

NOTE:
After you follow the above steps you will need to wait around 30 minutes for the changes to reflect post which you can attempt the Wordpress lost password option.
How do I remove a registered email ID?

Login to the Plesk Panel

Click on Whitelist Email

Remove the registered Email ID

Click on View All to list the registered email IDs

Select the email ID you wish to remove and click on Remove.

Click on Yes to confirm the action.
