How to Access a Single Domain Linux Hosting Account

When you need to manage website or email settings in your Single Domain Linux Hosting account. This article explains how to access and use cPanel.

 

There are three methods by which you can manage your cPanel Single Domain Linux Hosting package with us:

Managing your Single Domain Linux Hosting package through your Control Panel with us

Note

This method is recommended if you yourself are managing your Single Domain Linux Hosting package.

  1. Log in to your Control Panel.
  2. Search for the domain name for which you have purchased this cPanel Single Domain Linux Hosting Order, and go to the Order Information view.
  3. Click the Manage Web Hosting link to get automatically logged into your cPanel interface.

Modifying the Password of your cPanel Interface

  1. Log in to your Control Panel.
  2. Search for the domain name for which you have purchased this cPanel Single Domain Linux Hosting Order and go to the Order Information view.
  3. Click the Admin Details link.
  4. Click the Change Password link under cPanel Login Details.

  5. Mention a Password of your choice and click the Change Password button to reset your interface password.

Managing your Single Domain Linux Hosting Package through an IP Address

Note: 

This method is typically recommended if you wish to delegate managing your Single Domain Linux Hosting package to a Web Designer and have not yet modified your domain name's Name Servers to the ones recommended by us.

Alternatively, you may only provide FTP access to your Web Designer by creating another FTP User for them.

Retrieving the IP Address and Login Credentials of your Single Domain Linux Hosting Package

  1. Log in to your Control Panel.
  2. Search for the domain name for which you have purchased this cPanel Single Domain Linux Hosting Order and go to the Order Information view.
  3. Click the Admin Details link.
  4. Under cPanel Login Details, note the IP Address (next to the Address field) and your Username.
  5. Your Password can be retrieved by changing the password in the Admin Details interface.

Managing your Single Domain Linux Hosting Package through your Domain Name

Note:

This method of accessing the Single Domain Linux Hosting package is very similar to the one above and is also recommended when providing access to your Web Designer. The only difference between the two methods is that, for this to work, you should have already modified your domain name's Name Servers to us's.

Alternatively, you may only provide FTP access to your Web Designer by creating another FTP User for them.

Retrieving the Login Credentials of your Single Domain Linux Hosting package

  1. Log in to your Control Panel
  2. Search for the domain name for which you have purchased this cPanel Single Domain Linux Hosting Order and go to the Order Information view.
  3. Click the Admin Details link.
  4. Under cPanel Login Details, note the URL (next to the Address field) for accessing your cPanel interface and its Username.
  5. Your Password can be retrieved by changing the password in the Admin Details interface.
