How to Reload Cache in SuperSite or PartnerSite
When storefront changes do not appear after updates. This article explains how to reload cache in SuperSite or PartnerSite.
The SuperSite is built from multiple HTML files, images and CSS. A lot of other information such as branding, selling preferences and pricing details are picked up from the control panel and collectively displayed on the SuperSite.
When a visitor accesses the SuperSite, all of these individual items are called and blended together to be served as a single page.
In order to boost performance, the SuperSite downloads all of this information and stores it locally (cached), so it does not have to query the backend servers each time the site is accessed.
When you make any of the following changes in your control panel, the cache needs to be reloaded for those changes to reflect on the SuperSite:
- Branding Settings
Changes made to your branding settings such as Fully branded URLs, Brand Prefix, or the Name Servers
- Selling preferences
Changes made to your selling preferences such as Enabling or Disabling a product sign-up
- Plans and Pricing
Adding or modifying the plans or changing your selling prices
- Default Name Server information
Name servers to be used by default for new domain registrations
