How to Use MultiPHP Manager in cPanel

When you want to manage or change the PHP version for your domains. This article explains how to use the MultiPHP Manager in cPanel to update PHP versions and manage PHP-FPM settings.

This option is only available on systems that run EasyApache 4 and allows you to easily manage the PHP configuration of your cPanel accounts and domains.

System Administrators can select the system’s PHP version (the global default PHP version for all accounts) and manage PHP-FPM (PHP FastCGI Process Manager) configuration on each domain. System PHP version can only be changed by a root-level user. A newly created account will use the System PHP version by default.

Each domain in the cPanel account can use any currently installed PHP version from the list of domains which displays the following information:

 

Checkbox

Domain name

PHP version

Label

PHP-FPM

Select the checkbox for the domain you wish to change the PHP version

This column displays the name of the domains which can be searched using the Search text box

This field shows the PHP version that the corresponding domain is using

An Inherited label, if the domain inherits its PHP version from the system PHP version

This field indicates if PHP-FPM is enabled or disabled

Changing a Domain's PHP version.

 

1. Login to your cPanel >> Software >> MultiPHP Manager or search for MultiPHP in the cPanel search bar.

2. Select the domain you wish to change the PHP version and specify the desired PHP version from the PHP version menu and click Apply.
