I Can't Access the Registrant Email Address for My .IN Domain

Use this article if you cannot access the registrant's email address associated with your .IN, 3rd-level .IN (such as .co.in, .net.in, and .org.in), or .BHARAT domain and need to update it to receive the verification email required to complete Email Verification and eKYC.


Before You Begin

Ensure that you have access to another email address that you want to use as the registrant email address.


How to Update the Registrant Email Address

Step 1: Open the Domain Overview Page

Log in to your control panel and open the Domain Overview page for the domain that requires verification.

Step 2: Update the Registrant Email Address

  1. Click Contact Details.

  2. Update the registrant email address to an email address that you can access.

  3. Save the changes.

Step 3: Request a New Verification Email

  1. Return to the Domain Overview page.

  2. Click Resend Email.

A new verification email is sent to the updated registrant email address.


What Happens Next?

Once you receive the verification email:

  • Complete Email Verification using the verification link in the email.

  • Complete eKYC using the eKYC link provided in the same email.

Your domain verification is complete only after you have completed both Email Verification and eKYC.


Important

  • Only the most recently generated verification links are valid. Any previously sent verification links become invalid.

  • You must complete both Email Verification and eKYC within 90 days of receiving the verification request.

  • If the required verification is not completed within 90 days of receiving the verification request, your domain will be suspended.
