    What is a DNS Port?

    The domain name system primarily operates on port 53, using both TCP and UDP protocols. When DNS queries are made, they typically start with UDP for faster response times. If the response size exceeds 512 bytes, the system automatically switches to TCP. 

    This port acts as a gateway for all DNS-related communications, allowing your device to send queries and receive responses from DNS servers efficiently.
