Understanding “Order Locked in Processing” Messages

Learn what "Order Locked in Processing" means for your domain. Explore causes like connection issues and insufficient funds affecting your order status.

You may sometimes notice that the status of a particular action for a domain name is displayed as Order Locked in Processing.

This message could be displayed due to one of the following reasons:

  • Connection to the concerned Registry could not be established.

  • Insufficient Funds. In this case, the Current Action details view will display the Reason as Reseller has insufficient funds on [Timestamp].

  • In cases like Transfer and Restoration, the system is expecting a response from the Registry.

Once the above-mentioned conditions are fulfilled, these actions are automatically completed asynchronously by the system.
